Quite a bit of news for you today!
Check out our CAMRA SO social get-together #3, plus more fun events hosted by local businesses. Hope we’ll see you at one or more!

We also have the CAMRA BC AGM info and Zoom link below – it’s at 7:30 pm, March 15th. Members are encouraged to attend and learn more about CAMRA BC’s future!

New Year, New Beers social #3 – Abandoned Rail Brewing
Where: 1220 Davenport Ave, Penticton, BC V2A 8V1
When: THURSDAY, 24 MARCH 2022 FROM 5:30-7:30 pm

Our third social of 2022 gives us early access and a sneak peek at Abandoned Rail Brewing before they open to the public! As the 8th brewery in Penticton, they are the newest addition to the amazing beer scene here.

Meet the owner, Scott, and some of their team. This will be a great chance to hear about their brewery, the beers and to ask questions. You will have the opportunity to try their beers –  simply pay for your own beers / flights. CAMRA SO will also be providing some charcuterie to snack on while sharing tasty beers and company!

Abandoned Rail makes German-style beers with the majority using BC ingredients, including their very own estate-grown barley! You can already find their packaged product for purchase at local liquor stores.

Due to capacity limits, there are a maximum of 30 seats available to this event, so a free Eventbrite ticket will be needed (get them here). Only CAMRA members in good standing will be eligible for this early access event. Sorry, no guests for this one, this is a member exclusive event. If your membership has lapsed, please renew before reserving a ticket for this event.

All current event details can be found here at CAMRA SO’s facebook events page. COVID restrictions apply, including vaccine passport with ID checks as per the current PHO requirements.

Here are some other craft beer events being held in and around our community …
